Rosemary
Rosemary comes from Sault St. Marie, Ontario and is a graduate of St. Lawrence College in Kingston. She holds a diploma in Animal Care Technology, a rigorous three-year veterinary technician training program. She has been employed at Borderview Veterinary Hospital since her graduation in 1988. Rosemary is a strong proponent of continuing education both inside and outside the hospital. She is an active member of the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians and regularly attends monthly continuing education lectures in Buffalo, NY through the Veterinary Technician Continuing Education Program of Western New York as well as additional seminars and workshops. This keeps her up to date with changes in the veterinary field.
In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, hiking, camping, canoeing and bicycling. She lives in Fort Erie with her dog, Trixie and Ses’ cat Jeff, who she has cat-napped! She also takes great pleasure in being the home-away-from-home for many of her colleagues’ pets when they are away on vacation and cannot take their non-human family members with them.
