Dr. Elizabeth Vaughn
While growing up with a variety of animals on her family’s farm in West St. Catharines, Liz developed her passion for veterinary medicine. She completed a major in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Forest Science at the University of Guelph in 2004 and then went on to the Ontario Veterinary College. After graduating in 2008, she and her husband Dave moved back to the Niagara region where she worked in small animal practice and joined Borderview in 2018. In her spare time, she likes hiking with her husband and 2 daughters through the many trails in Niagara. Her family also includes a Plott Hound named Lina and 3 cats — Lynx, Pippen and Remi.
Liz is a member of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and has attended seminars through the Niagara Peninsula Veterinary Association as well as the continued education programs through the Buffalo Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Liz enjoys the challenges of working through complicated medical cases finding the best solution for each patient and their families.
